The sale of the Presidents’ coin, a barrel of Corton Renardes Grand Cru sold out at 800,000€, beating the previous record set last year. «Solidarité Femmes», an associative network dedicated to victims of domestic violence, and the Curie Institute, for research against breast cancer are the beneficiaries.
Due to climatic hazards, only 249 pieces were proposed against 630 last year. However, prices reached records for this historically low harvest: +100% for white wines and +60% for red wines.
Château de Marsannay will raise and bottle the wines of the Hospices de Beaune bought by the Marché aux Vins. This year: 3 pieces of Volnay Premier Cru, Cuvée du Général Muteau and a leaflet of Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru, Cuvée Madeleine Collignon.
